Who we are

ReCircuit is the event hub for the mobile, electronics and circular economy industry. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at ben@hannaben.com.

What we collect

Enquiries: when you send an enquiry (tickets, booths, sponsorship, speaking, travel, membership or "notify me"), we store your name, work email, company and message so our team can respond.

Member accounts: if you register, we store your email address and the profile details you choose to add — name, job title, company, country, sectors, LinkedIn and website links, and optionally a contact email and WhatsApp number.

Event attendance: when you mark yourself as attending an event, that request is stored and shown on your public profile only after our team confirms it.

Meeting planning: availability and meeting requests you enter on an event page are visible only to other confirmed attendees of that event.

Who can see your profile

Your name, job title, company, country, sectors and confirmed event badges are visible to anyone who visits your profile page.

Your LinkedIn and website links are visible to signed-in members.

Your contact email and WhatsApp number are visible only to members our team has approved for full contact access.

Your sign-in email is never shown on your profile.

How we use your data

To respond to enquiries and process membership applications.

To run the member directory, event attendance badges and meeting booking.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Lovable Cloud, which stores account and enquiry data on our behalf.

The language menu uses Google Translate; if you use it, Google may set its own cookies.

The event matchmaker sends the interests and goals you type to an AI model to generate suggestions. Do not include personal details in that text.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email ben@hannaben.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are relevant to our work with you. Account data is kept while your account is active; ask us to delete your account at any time.
